Tender Leaf Wooden Animal Zebra

On the zebra it is the pattern that does the work: black stripes across the back, neck and legs, with a short upright mane along the neck. Children like to stand it next to the giraffe or the antelope and compare the markings. It is also an easy shape to copy onto paper.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
