Tender Leaf Wooden Animal Donkey

The donkey is all ears: two long, upright shapes cut from the wood, nearly as tall as its head. The grey body has a pale muzzle and a short dark tail. In play it is the animal that always has to pull or carry something, and that stops halfway across the field for no reason at all.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
