Zo ziet spelen met magnetische tegels eruit
Connetix consists of building tiles that connect with magnets along their edges. Squares, triangles and other shapes can become a flat pattern first and then a house, tower or vehicle. There is no fixed final model: the same pieces can become something completely different the next time you play.
Building reveals how shapes fit together and which structures stay upright. A wide base offers different possibilities from a narrow tower. Lifting a flat shape or adding a triangle changes the structure. Counting, comparison, balance and spatial thinking can naturally become part of play, without needing to follow an example card.
The regular tiles are made from ABS plastic with enclosed magnets. Their coloured, transparent surfaces let light through. Rainbow has bright colours, Pastel uses softer shades and Clear has transparent surfaces without the same colouring. These versions change a structure’s appearance; the shapes included in the box also determine what you can build.
Not every range is transparent. Creative Roads has dark road pieces, while PRO uses opaque tiles. Light sets add an illuminated tile. This makes it more useful to examine a set’s contents than simply its packaging colour.
The number of pieces does not tell the whole story. A Ball Run box also counts tubes and balls, while a building set may mainly contain tiles. Consider the shapes, connectors and bases you need. An expansion is particularly useful when it adds something to the existing collection. For special ranges, also check the recommended age and compatibility information.
Keep the pieces dry and clean them according to the set’s instructions. Electronic light components need different care from ordinary tiles. Store track pieces with their connectors so that everything is ready for the next complete ball run.
Rainbow uses bright colours, while Pastel has softer shades. Sets may also differ in the number and shape of their pieces, so colour is not always the only difference.
No. A Ball Run includes ball-track components such as tubes, connectors and balls. Regular building sets focus on making structures with tiles.
That depends on the pieces you already have. Base plates add a foundation, wheeled bases make vehicles possible and shape expansions provide different building shapes.
Many regular sets are labelled for ages 3 and up. Special ranges and sets may have a different age recommendation. The age on the packaging applies to that particular set.
