Tender Leaf Wooden Animal Seal

The seal lies on its belly with its head lifted and its front flippers pushed forward. The body is smooth and stocky, painted greyish brown, with dark eyes and a pointed muzzle. It is one of the few animals in the range that lies down rather than stands, which usually earns it the part of the one dozing on the rock while everything else moves about.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
