Tender Leaf Wooden Animal Deer

The deer stands upright with its head raised, the antlers breaking the outline above everything else. Light dots are painted across the back and flank, over a warm brown body. In a woodland game it usually becomes the one that hears something first and sets the others running.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
