Tender Leaf Wooden Giraffe Animal

The giraffe stands head and neck above every other animal in the range, which is how it ends up being 'the big one' in any game. Painted patches run down the neck and flanks, and two small horns sit on top of the head. Children tend to place it first and build the rest of the herd around it.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
