Tender Leaf Wooden Animal Dog

The dog stands with its ears up and its head slightly raised, as if it has just heard something at the edge of the yard. Dark patches are painted across its back and flank. In play it rarely stays in a field: it walks beside the farmer, from one corner of the table to the next.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
