Tender Leaf Wooden Animal Antelope

The antelope is the slender one in the safari line-up: thin legs, a straight back and two horns sweeping backwards. The coat is painted in a light tone with a paler belly. In play it is almost always the one running: over a block, past the lion, back to the herd.

Tender Leaf works with reclaimed rubberwood: hevea trees that stop yielding latex after around 25 years and used to be burned. For every tree it uses, the brand says it plants a new one. The colours come from non-toxic, water-based paint and stain.
