Poes!

Poes! is a cheerful, cheeky picture book for young children, made of sturdy board. It was written by Cat Parker and illustrated by Aurora Cacciapuoti, who is known for her colorful, playful style.

On a morning walk, a toddler excitedly points at everything he sees and keeps calling out the Dutch word for kitty: “POES!” Mom gently corrects him: no, that's a frog… a dog… a bird. But attentive readers soon discover that the little one might be right after all, because there's a cat hidden somewhere on every page.

The simple but rock-solid seek-and-find concept invites toddlers to look along actively, name what they see and discover. The clear illustrations and repetition encourage language development and observation skills. Toddlers clearly enjoy searching for the cat, and often spot it faster than mom does!

An ideal picture book to read, look at and laugh about together. Suitable for toddlers from 3 years and perfect for home, childcare and toddler groups.
