Medela Swing Maxi - Double Electric Breast Pump

The Medela Swing Maxi - Double Electric Breast Pump is a double electric pump that lets you express milk from both breasts at the same time. It replaces the familiar Swing Maxi Flex and now has a built-in rechargeable battery, so you are not tied to a socket. Medela's Flex technology is still there.

Because you express both breasts at the same time, you are finished twice as fast. Double pumping has also been shown to yield up to 18% more milk.

Babies start a feed with short, fast sucking movements to stimulate the let-down reflex. As soon as the milk begins to flow, they switch to a slower rhythm of their own. Medela's 2-Phase Expression technology mimics those two phases: first fast to get the milk flowing, then slower for an optimal milk flow.

The PersonalFit Flex breast shield has an opening angle of 105 degrees, a soft rim and an oval shape for a better fit. As a result it puts less pressure on your milk ducts than a traditional breast shield, which makes pumping more comfortable and more effective. It has been clinically shown to yield up to 11% more milk. Two sizes are included: 21 mm and 24 mm.

The built-in battery charges through a USB-C port and is therefore charged faster than through a micro-USB port. Fully charged it lasts up to six pumping sessions, so you can also pump where there is no socket.
