The Medela Solo Single Electric Breast Pump is a single electric pump for mothers who breastfeed and want to express milk as well. The Solo is the new generation of the Medela Swing: more compact, with a built-in battery and with fewer parts. It is meant for anyone who wants comfortable, practical pumping without sacrificing effectiveness.

The Solo works with Medela's 2-Phase Expression technology. The suction rhythm shifts from fast to slower and so mimics a baby's natural rhythm.

It is a pump with a closed system. That keeps breast milk from getting into the tubing, overflowing and leaking into the pump's mechanism. So your expressed milk stays hygienic and the parts stay protected.

The Solo comes with the PersonalFit Flex breast shield. That gives a better fit, which makes your pumping sessions more comfortable. According to Medela it lets you express up to 11.8% more milk.

On a full charge the built-in rechargeable battery lasts up to six pumping sessions. You charge it through a USB-C connection, which is faster than through a micro-USB port.
