Elvie: wearable pumps with different systems

Elvie makes breast pumps worn inside a bra during pumping. Construction differs by range. Elvie Pump has its motor in the unit at the breast. Stride uses collection cups connected by tubing to a separate motor. Stride 2 is a separate generation with matching components.

Components and fit

Breast shields, valves, membranes and cups each serve a purpose. Shield size and the correct combination of components matter for fit and operation. Parts for Pump, Stride and Stride 2 are not automatically interchangeable.

Pumps and other products

• Electric pumps. The double Elvie Pump has a different construction from Stride. A Stride Connect Kit contains connecting parts, not a complete breast pump.
• Collecting and storing. Curve, Catch, milk storage bags and a cool bag perform different tasks. Collecting leaking milk is different from electric pumping.
• Pelvic floor trainer. Elvie Trainer is a separate product with its own purpose and instructions.

Cleaning and use

Check assembly and sizing against the manual before use. Clean milk-contact parts as instructed; motors and electronic parts require different care. Use comfortable settings. Persistent pain or pumping difficulties call for guidance from a healthcare professional.
