The dairy packaging used by Weerribben Dairy is entirely renewable, based on products from the forestry industry and is FSC-certified. No fossil fuels are used. The raw materials and production processes are climate-neutral. The packaging can be disposed of with PMD waste and is fully recyclable.
The package has a cap. This makes it easier to open and reseal. This cap is made from biomass (waste streams), so no fossil fuels are used. The cardboard packaging with the cap can be disposed of as packaging waste at most municipalities and will then be recycled as much as possible.
