Hegen uses a bottle shape with rounded square corners and a wide opening. Within the PCTO system, compatible bottles and containers gain a different function by changing the lid or attachment. A storage container, baby bottle and drinking cup therefore differ mainly in their combination of parts.
Many Hegen bottles and containers are made from PPSU, an amber-coloured plastic. This does not mean the teat, collar, lid and straw are also PPSU. Materials vary by component. The wide opening provides access for cleaning and filling.
Check that an attachment matches the intended bottle or cup. Disassemble according to the manual and clean small openings and straws too. The age on a teat is guidance; suitable flow also depends on feeding behaviour.
