Ardo: pumps and breastfeeding products

Different systems and materials

Rigid housings and flexible components work together in a pump. Breast shells, inserts, membranes and valves must match the correct model. A measurement in millimetres describes a part, not automatically the right fit for every user. Compare the model's measuring instructions.

Pumping, collecting and care

• Electric pumps. Ardo Melia and Alyssa Hands-Free are different systems with their own components and assembly instructions.
• Parts and storage. Melia parts, storage bottles, Kindestcup and cleaning bags are included. A collection cup works differently from an electric pump.
• Care and support. Lanolin, Care Balm, breast pads, nipple shields and compresses each have a distinct purpose. They do not replace one another.

Cleaning and fit

Clean milk-contact parts according to the manual and keep motors and electronics dry. Check soft components for wear. Use comfortable settings and do not force a painful fit. For persistent pain or feeding difficulties, a lactation consultant or other healthcare professional can help assess the cause.
