André Kuipers (born 5 October 1958 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch astronaut for the European Space Agency (ESA). He is the third Dutch-born astronaut after Lodewijk van den Berg and Wubbo Ockels, and the second Dutch astronaut after Wubbo Ockels to fly into space.
