According to Hungarian pediatrician Emmi Pikler, babies are actually competent, curious beings who love to learn from their own experiences.

The work of Emmi Pikler, a pediatrician from Budapest, has long been recognized and applied in neighboring countries. The method offers structure to both child and caregiver. For the child, this structure means safety and predictability, and for the caregiver, it allows them to work calmly and systematically.
